What Goes Into Caring for Veneers?

What Goes Into Caring for Veneers? Posted on 4/10/2019 by Sundberg Office Veneers are a great way to turn a flawed smile into a beautiful one. They are created to cover your teeth, and then they are bonded onto them to make them permanent. With veneers you no longer will have to worry about chipped teeth or cracks, you will just have a beautiful smile. Once you have veneers, there are a few easy things that you need to do to keep them looking great.

Simple Things That You Can Do to Keep Your Veneers Beautiful

Your veneers will feel just like normal teeth, and you need to treat them as such. One of the most important things that you will need to do is to brush often. It is a good idea to brush after each meal. You will also want to floss at least once a day. If you can, consider flossing after each meal as well. It should not take long until this turns into a habit. Another thing that you will want to do is to avoid foods that can discolor your veneers. While you can have some of these things on occasion, you should keep them as special treats. If you do consume something that is known to stain veneers, rinse your mouth with water immediately, and brush as soon as possible.Your veneers should be used only for eating. If you are the type of will chew on the cap or a pen or if you like to have a toothpick in your mouth, you will need to stop. Also, your veneers should not be used to do tasks like open small packages. Your veneers are not to be used as another set of hands. If you have veneers and have questions about how to take care of them, please feel free to contact us. We want to make sure that your veneers look beautiful for a long time to come.
