When you burn your tongue, though, the answer to this might be harder for you to find than others. Here are some ways that you can reduce the pain that you are in when you have a burn on the outside of your tongue. Ways to Relieve Your Tongue Pain When Got Burned

There are many ways to relieve any sort of burn pain that you're experiencing. When it is on your tongue, you have to be gentle in how you deal with treating and healing it because this is a tricky spot. Rinse with cool salt water to reduce the swelling and the pain that is felt in your mouth. Do not drink or rinse your mouth with hot water because this can make the pain in your mouth worse. Use ice or popsicles to ease the pain you're experiencing because they are cool and crisp on the mouth. Always rinse the mouth with cool water regularly to keep things moist inside the mouth.
